1. Introduction

Note: Сlick the “Save Changes” button in order to apply any changes.

1.1. Open your WordPress Admin Dashboard and find the menu on the left.

1.2. Open the ”Help Center” > “Settings” page.

1.3. The “Settings” page will open.

2. Settings

Use the options of the “Settings” page to make the global settings for the plugin.

2.1. Log File Size

Use the ”Log File Size” option to view the size of the log file and clear it, which becomes full by collecting data.

2.2. Zendesk Information

Use the options of the “Zendesk Information” section to enter security information.

2.2.1. Enter your Zendesk subdomain which is a part of the domain.

Note: Example: //domain.zendesk.com=>domain

2.2.2. Use the ”Email” field to enter your Zendesk email.

2.2.3. Use the “Password” field to enter the Zendesk password.

2.2.4. Use the “Token” field to insert the generated token from Zendesk. If necessary, click the “Read the instruction”  link.

2.3. Synchronize Every

Use the ”Synchronize Every” option by entering the number of hours that backup will be performed.

2.4. Backup

Use the “Backup” option to select elements that will be stored to backup.

2.5. Send Email on Backup Failure

Enable the ”Send Email on Backup Failure” option to enter the email address to receive emails if the backup fails.

2.6. Help Widget

Use the “Help Widget” option to add a help widget on the site.

2.6.1. After publishing, Help Widget may look on a page as follows:

2.7. Contact Link

Use the ”Contact Link” option to insert the link to the Help Center page in the widget.

2.8. Button Title

Use the ”Button Title” option to enter the title that will be displayed on the button of the widget.

2.8.1. The result of setting the custom button title may look on a page as follows.

2.9. Cookie Storage Time

Use the ”Cookie Storage Time” option to enter the number of hours for cookie storage.

3. Miscellaneous Settings

Use the options of the “Miscellaneous Settings” tab to make the settings regarding the track usage and default settings.

3.1. Track Usage

Enable the “Track Usage” option to allow tracking plugin usage anonymously.

3.2. Default Settings

Click the “Restore Settings” button to reset all the settings made previously and revert them to the default ones.

3.2.1. Click “Yes, restore all settings” button to confirm the procedure.

4. Custom Code

Use the “Custom Code” tab to insert a CSS, PHP or JavaScript code. To activate a custom code, enable the “Activate custom … code” option and save changes.

5. License Key

Use the “License Key” tab to activate or check the Pro plugin license.

5.1. Help Center Pro License

After a successful plugin purchase, you will receive an email notification with a download link and a license key. Activate Pro license by pasting a license key into the “Help Center Pro License” field and clicking the “Save Changes” button.

5.2. Check License Key

To check the license key, click the “Check license key” button. If the entered key is correct, the notification “The license key is valid. Your license will expire on XXXX-XX-XX will be displayed in the upper left corner of the page.

5.3. Manage License Settings

Use the “Manage License Settings option to change your license settings. Click the “Login to Client Area button to open your personal Client Area dashboard found on the https://bestwebsoft.com/ website. Browse and download purchased products, change the license domain and copy the license keys.

6. Help Center

Use the “Help Center” page to backup and look at the statistics of articles and widgets.

6.1. Backup

Use the “Backup” tab to export enabled elements.

6.1.1. Click the synchronize now button in order to show available backups.

6.2. Export

Use the “Export” button to export selected items.

6.3. Articles

Use the ”Articles” tab to look at the statistics of the views of the help center articles.

6.4. Widget statistics

Use ”Widget statistics” to see the statistics of the help widget.
