1. Introduction

Note: Сlick the “Save Changes” button in order to apply any changes.  

1.1. Open your WordPress Admin Dashboard and find the menu on the left.

1.2. Go to the “Donate” > “Settings” on your dashboard.

2. Settings

Use the options of the “Settings” page to make the global settings for the plugin.

2.1. General Settings

Use the “Buttons” option to enable the donate buttons display.

2.1.1. Enable the “PayPal” to display a PayPal button.

2.1.2. The result of the PayPal donate button display may look on a page as follows.

2.1.3. Enable the “2CO” to display a 2Checkout button.

2.1.4. The result of the 2Checkout donate button display may look on a page as follows.

 

2.2. PayPal

Use the options of the “PayPal” section to make settings regarding the PayPal button.

2.2.1. PayPal Email Address

Enter the appropriate PayPal email into the “PayPal Email Address” option field.

2.2.2. Donation Purpose

Use the “Donation Purpose” option to enter the purpose of the donation text.

2.2.3. Amount

Enter the amount of donation to the “Amount” option filed. Set “0” to allow users to set donation amounts by themselves.

2.2.4. Currency

Use the “Currency” option to set the currency of donations. Choose the appropriate value from the dropdown list.  

2.2.5. Button Image

Use the “Button Image” option to set the image for the button.  

2.2.5.1. Choose the “Default” to set the default button display.

2.2.5.2. The PayPal default donate button may look on a page as follows.

2.2.5.3. Choose the “Custom” to set the custom button display. Click the “Add Media” to select the custom image for the button.

2.3. 2CO

Use the options of the “2CO” section to make settings regarding the 2Checkout button.

2.3.1. 2CO Account ID

Enter the appropriate 2Checkout account ID to the “2CO Account ID” option field.

2.3.2. Quantity

Use the “Quantity” option to set the quantity of donation. Enter the appropriate value into the option box.

2.3.3. Product ID

Use the “Product IDoption to set the product that is donated for. Enter the appropriate product ID for donation purposes into the option box.

2.3.4. Button Image

Use the “Button Image” option to set the image for the button.  

2.3.4.1. Choose the “Default” to set the default button display.

2.3.4.3. Choose the “Custom” to set the custom button display. Click the “Add Media” to select the custom image for the button.

3. Miscellaneous Settings

Use the options of the “Miscellaneous Settings” tab to make the settings regarding the track usage and default settings.

3.1. Track Usage

Enable the “Track Usage” option to allow tracking plugin usage anonymously.

3.2. Default Settings

Click the “Restore Settings button to reset all the settings made previously and revert them to the default ones. 

4. Custom Code

Use the “Custom code” tab to insert a CSS, PHP, or JavaScript code. To activate the inserted code, enable the “Activate custom … code” option, and save changes.

5. Shortcodes

Use the shortcodes to add donate buttons to your posts or pages. Available shortcodes are displayed on the “Donate” > “Settings” page.

5.1. Donate Button Shortcode

To display the donate button, copy the necessary shortcode, create a new post or page or open the existing one in the “Edit” mode and insert copied earlier shortcode to the necessary place.

5.2. PayPal Default Button Shortcode

To display the Paypal default button, copy the necessary shortcode, create a new post or page or open the existing one in the “Edit” mode and insert copied earlier shortcode to the necessary place.

5.3. PayPal Small Button Shortcode

To display the Paypal small button, copy the necessary shortcode, create a new post or page or open the existing one in the “Edit” mode and insert copied earlier shortcode to the necessary place.

5.4. Paypal Credits Button Shortcode

To display the Paypal credits button, copy the necessary shortcode, create a new post or page or open the existing in the “Edit” mode and insert copied earlier shortcode to the necessary place.
