1.1. Open your WordPress Admin Dashboard and find the menu on the left.
1.2. Go to the “Rating” > “Settings” on your dashboard.
2. Settings
Use the options of the “Settings” page to make the settings that apply to all ratings of the website.
2.1. Rating Settings
Use the options of the “Rating Settings” tab to make the most important settings for rating display.
2.1.1. Add Rating to
Use the “Add Rating to” option to set where rating would be displayed.
2.1.1.1. Enable the “Posts” to display ratings on posts.
2.1.1.2. The result of displaying rating on posts may look on a page as follows.

Rating by BestWebSoft is compatible with “Testimonials by BestWebSoft” plugin. Download the plugin by clicking the “Download” link.

2.1.2.1. After a successful download and activation of the “Testimonials” plugin, enable Testimonials Review Form option for “Rating”.
2.1.2.2. Use the “Number of Titles” option to set the necessary number of titles for Testimonials Review Form.
2.1.2.3. Use the “Review Title” option to enter the necessary titles for Testimonials. Enter the appropriate text into the option field.
2.1.2.5. You need to activate the “Rating” option in the Testimonials plugin settings page to make the rating visible.

Use the “Minimum Rating to Add Schema” option to set the minimum rating value to add to the markup schema.

Use the “Enable Rating for” option to set the users group to allow rating for.
2.2. Appearance
Use the options of the “Appearance” tab to make the most important appearance settings for rating display.

Use the “Number of Stars” option to set the necessary number of stars for the review display.

Use the “Star Color” option to set the color of rating stars using the color-picker tool.

Use the “Star Color on Hover” option to set the color on hover of rating stars usingthe color-picker tool.

Use the “Rating Already Submitted Message” option to set the custom message if the user has already rated the post.

2.3. Miscellaneous Settings
Use the options of the “Miscellaneous Settings” tab to make the settings regarding the track usage and default settings.
2.3.1. Track Usage
Enable the “Track Usage” option to allow tracking plugin usage anonymously.
2.3.2. Services banner
Enable the “Services banner” option to hide Services and Ads banner.
2.3.3. Default Settings
Click the “Restore settings” button to reset all the settings made previously and revert them to the default ones.
2.4. Custom Code
Use the “Custom code” tab to insert a CSS, PHP, or JavaScript code. To activate the inserted code, enable the “Activate custom … code” option, and save changes.
2.5. License Key
Use the “License Key” tab to activate or check the Pro plugin license.
2.5.1. Pro License
After a successful plugin purchase, you will receive an email notification with a download link and a license key. Activate Pro license by pasting a license key into the “Rating Pro License” field and clicking the “Save Changes” button.
2.5.2. Check License Key
To check the license key, click the “Check license key” button. If the entered key is correct, the notification “The license key is valid. Your license will expire on XXXX-XX-XX” will be displayed in the upper left corner of the page.
2.5.3. Manage License Settings
Use the “Manage License Settings” option to change your license settings. Click the “Login to Client Area” button to open your personal Client Area dashboard found on the https://bestwebsoft.com/ website. Browse and download purchased products, change the license domain and copy the license keys.
