    Hello,
    The plugin has buttons that are placed near the post and they allow
    tweeted information about every post, and there is a button “Follow”,
    this button is a one of the site.
    For this button “follow” you have to place PHP code in your template –
    these are a theme files.

  4. John Hong

    again and excellent and simple plugin. How would I change the twitter icon to my own? I’m trying to use something small that does not compete with the facebook like button… thanks for the great work.

  5. bws_lvp

    Hello John,
    Regarding your question:
    At this moments, any funds for this in the plugin does not exist, but you can change the picture twitt.png from subfolder images in the plugin’s folder on the desired image.

    Kind regards

  6. Denny

    I like your plugin, is there a way to turn off the twitter button. It seems to be conflicting with Spot and adding the T when ever I use Spot. I do like the Follow_me so I would like to keep the plugin running.

    Thank you

  7. bws_lvp

    Hello Denny,

    You should to update plugin to the last version and turn on the checkbox ‘Turn off the button “Twitter”: on the plugin settings page.

    Kind regards

    How to make this button show the number of followers? Right now it only shows the number of tweets.

  9. bws_lvp

    Hello Charls,

    Unfortunately, this opportunity doesn’t exist.

    Kind regards

    Any chance of aligning your plugins in a div container across the page instead of down the page? I would like to use all of the features contained in your facebook and Twitter plugins, but when I do so, it takes up a chunk of vertical real estate on the left side of the field with a whole bunch of empty space on the right. If they were lined up in a horizontal container, they would easily fit into a space only 60-75 pixels high by 350-400 pixels wide. I could edit the CSS myself, but the customization would be over-written the next time you update plugins, and I hate having to rebuild the site every time the software updates.

  11. Barry

    Request part 2- FYI, If you look at the site, I have already made one CSS edit:

    #fcbk_share {
    clear:both;
    height: 20px;

    I thought the space between the button and embedded video below it was too big, so I cut it from 40 to 20.

  12. bws_lvp

    Hello Barry,

    Our plugin has the opportunity to use the custom image for the button My Page, which sizes are max image width:100px; max image height:40px; that’s why the block height is #fcbk_share имеет height: 40px;
    You should add these lines to the css file of your theme (not plugin), so that your changes will not be removed, when you update the plugin:
    #fcbk_share { height: 20px !important; }
    Or you shouldn’t update the plugin.

    Kind regards

  16. bws_lvp

    Hello Paul,

    It is showed a number of people, who pushed the twitter button on this page (where this button is placed).
    If you just installed the plugin, perhaps anyone didn’t push the button.

    That music is really distracting and annoying. Put in either upbeat music or do without. Next time I’ll remember to turn off sound sooner.

    Hello,
    Your plugin comes with the twitter icon, which is the little t that allows you to share posts via twiter. I qould like to keep this icon, but it shows at the bottom of my Contact Me page, and I would like to know if there is a way to remove it while still keeping the twitter icon on other pages.
    Thanks
    Jen

  25. John

    I think I would be able to use this if you would have a couple of changes coming in a future version:
    1. On my site (3.9.1, Twentyfourteen) it’s not appropriate to have the Tweet button on my static pages like Contact and Copyright Notice, so my suggestion is to allow the button to apply to Posts and not Static pages.
    2. I never got a Follow Me button to show up anywhere, so this would also be useful, probably in the header area.
    Thanks.

  26. Anna

    Hi John,

    1) This functionality is provided in the pro version of the plugin – http://bestwebsoft.com/plugin/twitter-pro/
    2) To display the Follow Me button – Paste the shortcode [follow_me] into the necessary page or post.
    If you would like to use this button in some other place, please paste this line into the template source code < ?php if ( function_exists( 'twttrpr_follow_me' ) ) echo twttrpr_follow_me(); ?>

    Sincerely

  32. Anna

    Hi Derek,

    Apologies, could you please explain your problem in more detail as our plugin does not have the setting “do not tweet” and we do not understand what you mean.

    Sincerely

  33. Scott Saunders

    Hey,

    no matter what I do I cannot get the “follow me” button to be displayed, the T button is which I believe is for readers to “tweet” the link however thats not what I want.

    Tried deactivating, reactivating etc and its just not working.

    help?

  34. Greg Travis

    I added the Twitter Plugin in Word Press, but when I click on it, it takes me to a twitter page to sign in and share a link with followers.

    I would like to just put a “Follow” button on there so it takes them to our main Twitter site without signing in.

    Please advise! 🙂 Thanks

  35. Alina

    Hi Scott,

    Please, paste the shortcode [follow_me] into the necessary page or post to use the “Follow Me” button.

    If you would like to use this button in some other place, please paste this line into the template source code:

    < ?php if ( function_exists( 'twttr_follow_me' ) ) echo twttr_follow_me(); ?>

    Regards

  36. Alina
